The EPC Project of the Self-provided Power Plant for Bahrain Aluminum Plant by Shandong Electric Power Construction Third Engineering Co., Ltd. has been successfully completed.
On December 21, the contract closing ceremony for the EPC project of the self-owned power plant of Bahrain Aluminum Plant, constructed by SEPCOlll Electric Power construction co.,Ltd., was held in Bahrain.

At the ceremony, Owner's Project Manager Sayed highly praised and fully affirmed the project team's high-level management and high-quality construction. He stated that the successful completion of the EPC project for the self-contained power plant of Bahrain Aluminium Company not only demonstrates the company and the project team's professional capabilities and excellent execution ability, but also serves as a strong proof of the company's strength and reputation in the international power station project field. This achievement has made a significant contribution to the capacity enhancement of Bahrain Aluminium Group and the local economic development, while also writing a vivid and important chapter in promoting the enduring friendship between China and Bahrain.

The EPC project of the self-contained power plant of Bahrain Aluminum Plant is located in the ASKAR area of Southern Province, Bahrain. The project adopts combined cycle technology with a one-to-one air-cooled layout. The designed installed capacity of the project is 680.8 MW in winter and 592.4 MW in summer. Our company, Hangzhou General Equipment Co.,Ltd, supplied the gas turbine bypass system for this project. During the project execution, our company collaborated closely with SEPCOIII. until the bypass system was successfully commissioned, with all data meeting the design specifications. On December 22, 2024, the project successfully completed the PAC work and obtained the TOC certificate, finishing the task target one month ahead of the contractual schedule. Thanks to its excellent engineering quality and technological innovation, the project was awarded the 'Best Power Project in Bahrain' by MEED for 2025.
